When I import a MSWord document with lots of tables, OOo sets the page size to 
custom with a length of 46". I cannot change or reset it back to the correct 
8.5x11 Letter size.

please attach the offending document to this issue, so that we can reproduce and
fix the problem here. You can also send the document directly
(mru@openoffice.org) for the case it contains confidential data. Feel free to
re-open the issue when you've done.

MRU->OS: Odd document, the view looks quite good, but in the UI there's an
utopic value for the page length, though correctly "Letter" is shown as paper
format.
