OOo is badly lacking in configurable shortcut keys. Especially, it concentrates
on the alphanumeric and a few other keys. This cuts out a lot of the possibilities.

I use a *lot* of macros in my work and being able to assign them to shortcuts
makes my life a lot easier. However, I am unable in OOo to use shortcuts that
I'm used to from MS Word, such as Ctrl-', Ctrl-` and Ctrl-\.

Also, the ability to use the Alt key would be a huge improvement - I can think
of no good reason why OOo doesn't use it when all other apps can. I know that it
could be seen as clashing with window-manager keys, but handling that situation
is down to the window manager.
