Description 354428992 2004-08-29 05:59:27 UTC
A cut operation can be performed by ctrl-x shortcut in windows or by using the
menu "edit -> cut" after highlighting the section you want to cut.
The cut operation should be undoable, restoring the document to its orginal
state.

The bug is that after a cut operation involving both text and image, the undo
operation only restores the text but not the image.

I can confirm that problem with 1.1.2RC3 (German) WIN XP: [645m44(Build8784)],
my actual standard OOo, but not in the way as reporter tested.

Steps to reproduce 1:
1. open document
2. Mark from "start" to "end" (both words included)
3. press <cntrl-x>
expected: both words with image should be deleted
   actual: image remains
This instruction shows an other than the reported one.

Steps to reproduce 2:
1. open document
2. Mark all with <cntrl-a>
3. press <cntrl-x>
expected: all included image should be deleted
   actual: as expected
4. push 'undo-button'
expected: text should look like before <cntrl-x>
   actual: image is missing.

It seems that it is not a clipboard problem. If you press <cntrl-v> instead of
'undo-button', the complete text including image will reappear.

This problem is well known for me, I can't believe that it isn't already reported.

This problem might be related to issue 20687

Using OOo 1.1.4, with Windows XP (service pack 2), this issue is not
reproducable, I guess it's been fixed in this version.
