"connect" between two distinct points creates a straight line between them
it seems there is no *simple* way to
- convert this segment into a Bezier curve
- delete this segment when the two point are brought at the same place

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
