Description pavel 2004-12-27 17:41:26 UTC
Hi,

right now (m67) we have eight strings with the text "To access this function...":

helpcontent2/source/text/smath/00.po:msgid "To access this function..."
helpcontent2/source/text/smath/00.po:msgid "\\<variable id=\\\"wie\\\"\\>To
access this function...\\</variable\\>"
helpcontent2/source/text/scalc/00.po:msgid "To access this function..."
helpcontent2/source/text/scalc/00.po:msgid "\\<variable id=\\\"wie\\\"\\>To
access this function...\\</variable\\>"
helpcontent2/source/text/schart/00.po:msgid "To access this function..."
helpcontent2/source/text/schart/00.po:msgid "\\<variable id=\\\"wie\\\"\\>To
access this function...\\</variable\\>"
helpcontent2/source/text/swriter/00.po:msgid "To access this function..."
helpcontent2/source/text/swriter/00.po:msgid "\\<variable id=\\\"wie\\\"\\>To
access this function...\\</variable\\>"

I think the better solution would be to define this text in shared module and
share it with other modules.

reassiging

FPE: This was necessary in the old help structure. I agree to unify this for OOo
later.
Comment 3 Uwe Fischer 2005-05-12 13:15:49 UTC
"To access this function" and "To access this command" text strings can be
unified to use only the one string from shared/00/00000004.xhp#wie
However, this needs many hundreds of file changes; and we cannot delete the then
no longer needed old references because they are titles of files and every file
must have a title.
So I must set this to "wontfix" because it is far too complicated and costly
without real benefits.
