This refers to the German version of OOo and perhabs it belongs to de-component.
In 'Configure menu' and in 'Customize toolbar buttons' there are the terms
(1) 'Geschützen Trenner einfügen' (which is 'Insert Non-breaking Hyphen' in
English version)
(2) 'Weichen Trenner einfügen' (which is 'Insert Optional Hyphen' in English
version).
In the Helptext it is called
(1) Geschützter Bindestrich
(2) Bedingtes Trennzeichen
I know, that in Unicode it is (1) 'non-breaking hyphen' and (2) 'soft hyphen'.
But I suggest to change the terms in 'Configure menu' and 'Customize toolbar
button' for two reasons:

- The terms should be consistent in different parts of OOo.

- We use different words for the use of the divis for composition and for
separation in German. For composition we use 'Bindestrich' and for separation we
use 'Trennungsstrich' or sometimes 'Trennstrich' or 'Trennungszeichen'.

So it should be
(1) Geschützten Bindestrich einfügen
(2) Bedingtes Trennzeichen einfügen

SBA->LIZ: Confirmed. The different UI entries can be seen in the same dialog:
(Affects german UI only, so I'll tell the way via german UI)
Via menu: Extras-Anpassen
(1) Select tab "Keyboard"
In the Box "Tastenkombinationen" see entry "Strg+minus" -> "Weichen Trenner
einfügen"
(2) Tab "Symbolleisten", click "Hinzufügen"
 - in "Bereich", choose "Einfügen"
-> In the box "Befehle", the entry is "Geschützten Trenner einfügen"

The (necessary!) change could be done otherwise too!
In the OpenOffice-Help (and its index), in the menu Extras-Anpassen-Tastatur
(and everywhere) could be written "Weichen Trenner einfügen/ Trennhilfe
einfügen/ Bedingtes Trennzeichen einfügen" (all the three possibilities - this
helps to find, what one is looking for) and "Geschützten Bindestrich einfügen".

May be fix for this one should wait until fix for "Issue 124593 - Unify wording Dash ↔ Hyphen" has been done
