Description norbert2 2005-01-10 19:23:48 UTC
- open a (new) spreadsheet
- enter a value into a cell
- apply "0,00000 00000 00000" as "Format code" for this cell: the format is
correctly applied
- close the spreadsheet
- load the spreadsheet: now the "Format code" is corrupt!

(in the "Format Cells"-window you can see that the two spaces have moved to the
end of the "Format code"-string!)

I tried the same on oo m65 version, Instead of displaying the number with
format , it showing '###'

Steps
-----
Enter a value
eg:- 123456789
Right click on the cell and select 'Format cells...'
Type 0, 00000 00000 00000 in 'Format Code '

The number:embedded-text element is specified only for positions left of the
decimal point.

It seems useful to extend this to the right of the decimal point, but it's too
late now to do so for 2.0.

Remember we never had the goal of saving every possible format string (that's
the cost of using a structrured, logical description).

We'll have to change this issue's target to "later".

So I've done it. Target later.

Hi Niklas.

"but it's too late now to do so for 2.0"

So what about targeting to 2.2?
