Please have a look. Hi, besides the fact that a -database would be useful the current package splitting is a bit suboptimal. For example, libwpft is in -core. It is a WordPerfect writer filter so it probably should be in -writer. There probably is more stuff like that too. Also useful would be a -binfilter, we have -xsltfileter and -graphicfilter too. That would reduce the size of -core immense and would help people trying to provide two different installsets size-wise (i.e. with --with-system-foo and with internal one). In the wpft case I need to duplicate -core, where -duplicating -writer would be easier, faster and would need lesser space,, OpenOffice.org Issue Tracker - Feedback Request.
