// new summary Confirmed. In OOo 1.9.74, on the insert menu, the items Hyperlink, Movie and Sound, and Floating Frame do not have hyperlinks, but they present dialogs when clicked on. They should have ellipses. (Aditi Gupta, Seema Gandhi,February 07 2005) The same bug was observed in the Insert menu of OpenOffice 1.9.71.1 spreadsheet, Drawing and Presentation. It would good to mention this bug for OpenOffice 1.9.71.1 Spreadsheet, Drawing and Presentation in the same report. Ellipses are used if there is a step between menu command and the action, typically a dialog. But if the dialog itself is the result of the action then ellipses are not needed, e.g. "Options", "About". BTW_ I am no longer officially active on OOo. Please take over. |
