Reassigned to Christian. The bug 'All sounds plays at once when I start the presentation' works for me. But we should support mouse over effects. This is an feature and not a bug. OpenOffice.org Issue Tracker - Feedback Request. The Issue you raised is currently assigned to 'Requirements' pending review, but has not been updated within the last 3 years. Please consider re-testing with one of the latest versions of OOo, as the problem(s) may have already been addressed. Either use the recent stable version: http://download.openoffice.org/index.html or consider trying the new OOo 3 BETA (still in testing): http://download.openoffice.org/3.0beta/ Please report back the outcome so this Issue may be Closed or Progressed as necessary - otherwise it may be Resolved as Invalid in the future. You may also wish to search for (and note) any duplicates of this Issue that may have advanced further by checking the Issue Tracker: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/query.cgi Many thanks, Andrew Cleaning-up and Closing old Issues as part of: ~ The Grand Bug Squash, pre v3 ~ http://marketing.openoffice.org/3.0/announcementbeta.html I was able to replicate this bug and show that this feature is not present in the current build of Open Office. OOo Version: OOO300m15 (Build: 9379) Operating System: Windows XP SP3 Steps to replicate: 1. Open Impress. 2. Create a new blank presentation with one empty slide. 3. Add two different sounds (using ‘Insert’ -> ‘Movie and Sound’). 4. Press F5 to run the slide show. 5. Use the mouse to roll over the areas where the sounds are located. 6. Use the mouse to click on the areas where the sounds are located. Key observations: 1. Notice that both sounds play simultaneously when the slide is presented to the user. 2. Notice that there is no further sounds played when rolling over them with the mouse or clicking them. Other observations: With graphics hardware acceleration turned on, the places where the graphic icons are located are shown as black boxes during the presentation. With hardware acceleration turned off, the icons are shown as white boxes (requires changing the slide background to observe). This problem is reproducible with only Open Office tools. It is not confined to files imported from Microsoft Office. I have attached a zip file that contains a presentation with two sound files that demonstrate the issue. Created attachment 60062 [details]
