If I try to open a MS office document in IE, it errors out with - "API call
exited abnormally".

parry,

Can you give more detail on this, please? Is this an MS Office document that you
created using OpenOffice? Can you attach a sample document?

Thanks..

This is not specific to any document. If I, for example, click on a link to a
MS Word, Excel or PPT file on a website using Internet Explorer, it tries to
invoke the OO.o ActiveX to render the document. The OO.o ActiveX control
aborts with an error message - "An API call exited abnormally". The document
is not opened, instead I see a blank gray area within IE.

I have MS Office XP also installed on my machine, BTW.

Works pretty well for me on SRC680m77 version.
mav->perry: Please test SRC680m77. Please be sure that the correct proxy
settings are set for the office during the testing if required.

Taking back since it works well for the file content but the problem is
reproducible for http content.
