Would like to see the input bar customisable as is the function bar etc. In
particular, would like to change the summation function on the input bar to a
subtotal of summation. This function would be much more useful than the
existing sigma function.

I like the extra power of the subtotal function, but as one almost always is
trying to get to subtotal of summation (argument 9) it would be nice to be able
to get to it with a single keystroke on the input bar, not the five keystrokes
needed to initiate that feature through the more powerful subtotal of
statistical variables function that now exists.

Add a context menu loke "Visible Buttons" to the function bar [F2]. In
this list common functions (like the Top Twenty or so) should be
available to be added next to the already exsistif Sigma/Sum symbol.
