i have the english version (SETTINGS: user Interface: default, language setting:
german (switzerland)). when I cut and paste some words from writer to a text
field in impress it does not show the umlaut-character(s) in a normal way.

confirmed with m78 on Linux. All English settings. Copying writer to calc fails,
copying writer to writer, calc to calc, calc to writer all works. Seems to be a
calc problem.

Hi Henning,

not an isolated Calc problem. Pasting such a string into textboxes in Draw and
Impress results in the same bug. So this seems to be a problem of the Edit
engine and therefore your contruction site.

If it's not fixed in time for OOo2.0, it should be fixed for OOo2.0.1.

Considering the effort, the priority, the risk and our resource planning I've to
retarget this issue to OOo Later.
