Run soffice -writer.

Tools > Mailmerge wizard.

1. current document
2. letter
3.  select different address list 

In the next dialog, click 'Create..', customise the source to contain one or two
fields.
enter data into these fields.
Click 'new' repeatedly.  Blank records are inserted repeatedly.

When data is not added to atleast one of the fields the 'New' button should be
disabled.

HI->OS: Building empty data should be prevented.
