In Microsoft Word, diagonal lines can be drawn in tables. I think OOo does not
support diagonal lines in tables. When opening a Microsoft Word document in OOo,
no diagonal lines are displayed. I think this is quite a useful enhancement.

diagonal table borders are currently not supported by OO Writer.

I hope to support Microsoft Office oblique line, hope even more that the form of
OpenOffice.org can make out the oblique line. 
Now OpenOffice.org can only hand cartoon oblique line (Draw the oblique line
with hands by myself).  ~XD

OpenOffice.org Issue Tracker - Feedback Request.

The Issue you raised is currently assigned to 'Requirements' pending review, but
has not been updated within the last 3 years. Please consider re-testing with
one of the latest versions of OOo, as the problem(s) may have already been
addressed. Either use the recent stable version:

With my testing with the latest release & development version (3.1.0 &
DEV300m49), it turned out this issue is still valid. Writer does not support
diagonal line (oblique) yet. In fact, it is one of the frequently requested
features in Korean community.

Considering the high number of votes, I hope requirements team to review this
issue and to assign it to developer in charge.

I think that diagonal line drawing is essential function.

Tables in Writer doesn't support diagonal lines. For compatibility with other document formats it should be introduced.
