Issue 4399

Summary: Pull-down menus don't work with DragonNaturally Speaking
Product: General Reporter: Unknown <non-migrated>
Component: uiAssignee: AOO issues mailing list <issues>
Status: CONFIRMED --- QA Contact:
Severity: Trivial
Priority: P3 CC: issues
Version: OOo 1.0.0
Target Milestone: AOO Later
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows 2000
Issue Type: FEATURE Latest Confirmation in: ---
Developer Difficulty: ---

Description Unknown 2002-05-03 00:39:07 UTC
Using Dragon NaturallySpeaking 5.0 to pull down menus are only accessible by
using alt-key shortcuts rather than the menu name. For example, I can access
the file menu using "alt-key foxtrot" but not by saying "file". Also, many of
the dialog box buttons do not have obvious key equivalents. I discovered
through trial and error that the escape key is equivalent to cancel.

TM->FT: As OB told me, this feature hasn`t been fully implemented by
now in the 6.0. He doesn`t really know when (in which version) this
feature will be available again. So please have a look at it. Thanks !

FT->OB: Since I do not have Naturally Speaking at hand can you please
update me on this issue? Thx.

Re-targeted to Office Late since this is no 2.0 relevant issue.
