AFAIK there are both notations allowed. So it would be good to offer a way to get both in the formula document. It seems a bit inconsistent, because the Selection offers sin^-1, cos^-1 and so on, but puts the arcus functions into document. OpenOffice.org Issue Tracker - Feedback Request.
