1) Launch OpenOffice
2) File - New - Database
3) Connect to existing database
4) Configure any database and just close the file
5) Relaunch OpenOffice, a crash recovery comes up saying the database that you
used had crashed.

this was a known issue in Beta, and is fixed in latest developer snapshot builds.
(note that Base did not actually crash, but only the crash reporter always tried
to recover)
