Compiling libart_lgpl with just -O2 and no other CFLAGS doesn't seem to help the problem either:
/opt/openoffice.org1.9.87/program/soffice libgnomevfs-ERROR **: file gnome-vfs-cancellation.c: line 133 (gnome_vfs_cancellation_cancel): assertion failed: (gnome_vfs_is_primary_thread()) aborting...
Workaround: Use the OOo own file picker. Switch it in 'Tools Options'. Which Linux/Gnome did you use? Changing to OOo dialogs in Tools->Options->General appears to have solved the problem with the cursory examination that I have time to do right now. Here's the version breakdown: Gentoo Linux, kernel 2.6.7-hardened-r17 (with PaX and grsecurity turned off) Gnome 2.8.1, later upgraded to 2.8.3 libart_lgpl 2.3.16, later upgraded to 2.3.17. gtk+ 2.6.4 I'll mess with it a little later today and see if I can get a complete backtrace for you from gdb. @ cmc: Please have a look. It's the same as #i43004#. i.e. the gnome-vfs bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166852 which is worked around by the fix introduced with #i43004# *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 43004 *** close as duplicate |
