First timer - apologies in advance,...

Using OO 1.9.91 on WinXP SP2 plus all latest patches.

I keep my operating system on C: drive, and all my software on D: drive. Also
try to keep configuration files on D: in case I have to do a restore - that way
a restore will not affect program settings.

When I change path for "User Configuration" folder from default (C:\Docs &
Settings\...\App Data\OOo\user) to a folder on D: drive, some, but not all,
information is still being updated to default folder, even though "User
Configuration" path in Options is most definately set to D: folder.

I verify this by doing a *.* search on both folders, sort by "Date Modified",
then do something with OO and redo sorts to see when/where changes are occuring.

For instance, if I just open/close OO, I get a file changes in
  (default)\registry\data\org\openoffice\Office\common
but if I make a change in icons on standard toolbar, I get a change in
  D:\...\soffice.cfg\modules\scalc\toolbar\standardtoolbar

Hope this is enough info to check repeatability.

To progress this issue I'm changing the Component from '*Testproduct'.

Not a defect: Works as designed. You can change the settings for the user
configuration in the bootstrap.ini. But that is not officialy supported.
