This is a dup of 5289 duplicate *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 5289 *** closed reopen this one because the duplicate is a much to huge container bug - this one can better be handled because it concentrates on a single feature. ->bm: Please take care of this issue. *** Issue 4509 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** accepted as a feature task for implementing the extrapolation of trendlines (regression curves) *** Issue 56578 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** added 'trendline' to summary for better searching added '(forward/backward forecast)' to summary for easier finding this issue Created attachment 36094 [details]

*** Issue 90692 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** change owner reset to new I voted for this issue, but resolving the problem that is brought up in the duplicate issue 90692 is far more important to me. Extending trend lines beyond the range of data plotted in a nice feature, but extending trend lines beyond the plotted data is statistically inappropriate in most cases. I would suggest that plotting the trend line so that it does not extend beyond the plotted values should be the default. |
