Sorry, not reproducible. Which version are you using and which Linux? Can you attach the used document? Thanks in advance. I'm using OO 1.9.113 on SuSE 9.3 Pro, Gnome, with all the latest updates. I've attached a sample document. It's 100 pages of the same slide to illustrate the problem, which is worse than I reported before. To reproduce the problem: Open Find/Replace. Change "16bit" to "16-bit" using ReplaceAll. 1. It takes minutes to make about 800 changes! 2. Each change draws the text receptacle, but not the page being drawn. 3. Each change steals the focus, meaning you can't do anything else on the computer. Even if I change to a different Workspace, OO takes the focus and changes back to the workspace containing OO.
