spanish language pack works ok for translating menu options & dialogs, BUT: it
includes italian dictionary instead of the spanish (ES / MX) ones. I found this
to be true for 1.9.109 & 1.9.113 on Wintel and Linux packages. Installing them
manually (from the package found in fedora core 4: 1.9.104) will work fine.

El paquete de lenguaje español funciona para los menúes y diálogos, pero incluye
el diccionario italioano en lugar del español (ES/MX). Así lo encontré para las
versiones 1.9.109 & 113 para windows/intel32 y linux. Al instalarlos manualmente
desde (los que vienen con fedora core 4: 1.9.104), la ortografía funciona
correctamente.

No dictionary is included in the spanish language pack!!! After trying versions
113, 118 & 122, I found my issue report was not precise: The real problem is
that the spanish language pack does not include any dictionary. The italian one
I had reported was already included in the base package.

El paquete de lenguaje español no incluye diccionario alguno!!! Despues de
probar las versiones 113, 118 y 122, ví que mi reporte de problema no era
preciso: El verdadero problema es que el paquete hasta ahora no incluye
diccionario alguno. El diccionario italiano que había visto venía en el paquete
básico de oo.
