Reproducible. Reassigned. AW: Rounding error. Changing priority. I believe this has the same origin as: Issue 26783 - Dimension/Grid is off when using inches, but not cm. Quote from i26783: AW: This is just a numerical problem, but not solvable ATM. Internally, DrawingLayer is working on 1/100th mm, thus using a metric entity. All scalings to metric work well, then. This is used in Calc and Draw/Impress, regardless of the UI measurements used (this is just for the UI). In Writer, twips are used as the base and everything which is a multiple of twips will work. Though I prefer metric in day to day life, when I design cabinets, I need to use inches. Having this dimension line issue fixed (and any others related to it) would be a very welcomed. This is still an issue in 2.4. When I use 1/8 in increments, many of the dimension line measurements display incorrectly (11.124 instead of 11.125). AW: May be fixed with #i89872#, need to check if that fix is integrated. AW->petepdx: Could You please check if this works for You after #i89872# is fixed (it's in DEV300 m38 codeline, so OOo 3.1 should be Your friend) Reset assignee on issues not touched by assignee in more than 2000 days. |
