Description thomas.lange 2005-08-18 14:09:43 UTC
When the font "Courier New" is available for ISO8859-1 (western text) and the
font "couriernew" in ISO8859-8 (hebrew) the hebrew font is chosen over the
latin-1 font and thus the display of the text (e.g. in the IDE for basic macros)
is garbled.

Comment 2 hdu@apache.org 2005-08-18 14:36:46 UTC
On that particular display these two fonts were fighting:
  -monotype-courier new-regular-r---0-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-1
  -monotype-couriernew-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-8
and the iso8859-8 won...

Time to tweak the heuristics for matching X11 fonts...
