I got from my administration a .rtf file, consisting of among other things a
table that contains an image in the first cell (see attached file imageonly.odt;
i have reduced the file to the minimum); the originla .rtf file was created
using OO, I presume with 1.1.4.
Now when I open this original document in OO 1.9.122 and save it again, the
image disappeares (see imageonly.rtf for the reduced file).

To test, just save imageonly.odt as .rtf, close and reopen

There seem to be other issues concerning images and rtf, but they did not seem
to fit this problem

MRU->FLR: export attached document to RTF and reopen -> picture in tbale is lost
also, on export an assertion "Not expected to see FRMDIR_ENVIRONMENT here".

I am tracking for another bug and this seemed to be close to it when making 
database queries

1. Download that "imageonly.odt"
2. open OpenOffice 2.0.3
3. Save as RTF
4. close OpenOffice 2.0.3

5. Open RTF-file with Word 2002 (10.6802.6735) SP 3 
6. NICE: the image in table is visible
7. close Word 2002 

8. Open RTF-file with OpenOffice 2.0.3
9. NOT SO NICE:  the image in table is NOT visible

10. THIS IS DUE TO OpenOffice 2.0.3 (cannot blame MS this time)

11. CONFIRMED as REPEATABLE

Hi all,

Part A:

The same test:
- ODF: open "imageonly.odt"
- RTF: save as "imageonly.rtf"


Test 1:
- image is visible in "imageonly.rtf"

TEST 1 info:
- WIN XP SP 2 + latest updates
- OOo 3.1.0
- OOO310m11
- build 9399
- Finnish Language Pack: OOo_3.1.0rc2_20090427_Win32Intel_langpack_fi.exe


Test 2:
- image is visible in "imageonly.rtf"

TEST 2 info
- PCLinuxOS LXDE.2009.4
- OOo 3.1.0
- OOO310m11
- build 9399
- there is also mentioned that Build 3.1.0.5
- Finnish OpenOffice
- updates by PCLinuxOS package manager.


Test 3:
- image is NOT visible in "imageonly.rtf"
- Repeatable: in 2.4.1.

TEST 3 info:
- Debian 5
- OOo 2.4.1
- open-office.core. 1:24.1+dfsg-1
- Wed Mar 25 21:25:25 UTC 2009
- Finnish OpenOffice
- updates by package manager.

It seems, that there is improvement during 2006-2009.

NOTE: IMPORTANT:

However.
When looking closely "imageonly.rtf", it can be seen that there is several 
differences with ODF and RTF files.

I add screen captures to file.

Check that screen capture file for several differences with RTF and ODF file.
