right, in the moment not possible because oo needs the 'explicity' of the row (primary key or bookmarking like in access or dBase) => not a bug, but change in feature and send to requirements Access does not require the creation of a primary key. There may be some kind of primary key created in the background by the software if a primary key is not created by the user. I really don't know, but if that is the case, it is completely transparent to the user. Primary keys can also be created and removed in existing tables in Access without the tables being adversely affected (tables can still be edited). Exactly, this would be well to fix also because of users who switch from Microsoft Access to OpenOffice.org Base. -- Martin Kozák CS User Support Leader Is this still an issue? I don't think I experienced this in OOo2. IMO for Base as a frontend of different database management systems it is right to need an primary key and didn't it automatically. and IMO it is a Bug that MS Access doesn't do it. so works as designed -> invalid -> closed |
