OOo version: 1.9.125
Computer: HP Pavilion ZD8000 NoteBook 17" FlatScreen
OS: Windows XP SP2
Processor: P4 3.4 Ghz
Mem: 1 Gig
Video: ATI Mobility Radeon X600 128MB
Power Point: Version 2002 SP3

Slide Transistion task pane becomes uneditable after certain items in the pane
are selected. To produce this bug:
1. Load attached file
2. Open "Slide Transistion" pane
3. Select any item from the "Sound" drop down menu
or
3A. Select "on mouse click"
or
3B. Select "Automatically after"

If an item in "Apply to selected slides" is selected all the items will become
slected after step three above.

The attached file is from issue 53922. This file does not encounter any
problems with Power Point.

(Ian Hodges, 10 Sept 2005)

System Info:
PC
Windows XP Professional SP2
AMD XP 2200
Radeon 9600 XT
1.0 GB DDR RAM
OOo version 1.9.125

I was able to reproduce this bug on my system easily with the included power
point presentation. However, I was unable to reproduce the bug with any other
power point presentation. Moreso, when I accessed the slide transition pane
with any other presentation, then opened the attached file, the slide
transition pane was always accessible.
Hope this helps.

(Justin Kelley 9/11/2005)

My specs are as follows:
- OO 2.0 Beta
- Dell Dimension XPS PC
- Windows XP Professional SP2
- Pentium 4 3.8 GHz Processor
- 2.0 GB DDR RAM

Followed the steps mentioned but was unable to replicate. Not all items in
the "Apply To Selected Slides" were selected after executing step 3.

Steps followed:
1. Imported attached file into Impress
2. Opened the "Slide Transition" pane
3. Selected a sound item from the "Sound" drop-down
4. Selected "On Mouse Click" the first time, "Automatically After" a second
time
5. Then selected an item in the "Apply to Selected Slides"

However, not all items became selected in my particular case.

For follow up testing I recommend selecting every combination of options
available in the slide transition pane.

Considering many users enjoy impelementing slide transition effects I would
place a high level of importance on this issue.

Hope this helps.

I can reproduce the bug in src680m130.
Please have a look.
Comment 7 christian.guenther 2005-10-20 18:34:57 UTC
This bug occures with all documents which are saved in the slide sorter view.
To get the slide transition dialog editable again change to the Normal view and
back to the slide sorter view.
