see attached testcase.
select object, enable edit pounts. select rightmost point, try to drag it's 
handle - it is impossible to do outside of page area.

I checked with 2.0 (1.9.m122) German version WIN XP: [680m122(Build8941)] and
can reproduce the problem using attached "editpoint.odt", pls. see attached
screenshot. The problem disappeared after I changed page format to "landscape",
reappeared after new selection of "portrait".

note that problem seems to disappear when page is converted to landscape only 
because page area is increased so that it includes editing point.

if you move the object to the right border of the page, problem reappears - and 
in this case there is even less space to the right of the page so it is 
impossible even to grab editing point for this object.

MRU->OD: The "outmost point" can be made visible when clicking one of the "Edit
points" handles. Then, the Curve-handle will be displayed outside the text area.
There it is not possible to use it.
