Objective:Use text animation to display selected text letter-by-letter from 
left to right.
I used custom animation and text animation.  Effect Options - Text animation 
letter by letter moving from left to right, 102.4% delay between characters.  
The selected effect from custom animation was "Wipe".  Text was grouped as one 
object.
It functioned yet while doing it, text letters would appear, disappear, and 
then reappear as the wipe moved from left to right.  
I have a one slide demonstration to show it if I can attach the file and send 
to you.

Accepted. This only seems to happen for clipping effects - the move effects
(like fly in, boomerang, etc. all work as expected).
