Hi, what's the decimal delimiter in the locale you use ? Do you get the numbers if you type a comma instead of the period ? Frank Hi Frank The decimal delimiter used is period. If I use comma ie. "738,01"; the format remains number. Regards Wilhelm Hi, please check this behaviour with the final version of OOo2.0 and please tell me the locale used on your system. Also the settings under tools-options-Language settings for the locale would help. Frank Hi Frank This issue is resolved in OpenOffice.org 2.0 ! Thank you. Regards Wilhelm Hi Frank Locale is "South Africa" and my locale settings under Tools|Options|Language is "Default". Language is "English(South Africa)" Regards Wilhelm Hi, so I close this Issue as worksforme. Frank closed wfm |
