Sorry, I don't understand what you did. Where did you create a second page. Inserting a footer doesn't create a second page. Ok, here are the easier steps - New Writer doc - Strg+Return for the second page - Start MailMerge Until step6 it's all ok. Step7 will lost the second page which will be back on step6. O.k., you have an empty first page and that gets lost. That is a bug but it's nothing worth prio 3 and target 2.02. My mistake, I have to give a better description. - New writer doc - Insert dummy text - Strg+Return - Type one line text on second page -> Now we have two pages and both are not empty - Run MailMerge -> Second page will lost at step7 and as finished result. It seems it depends on amount of text on second page. In fact we have data loss. We will not finish this task in the 2.0.2 time frame -> retargetted to 2.0.3 The page break is removed if there's only on paragraph on the second page. Target changed to 2.x anather possibility: why not integrate into the merge-wizzard the option "duplex-printing"? sorry, I did not submit correctly my comment: Actually the merged documents get in the paragraph-format of the first paragraph the option "insert break" and "with page style". I think, it should be possible to chose which options would have to be used. Normally it's ok with only "insert break". If you want to have a special page-style to be used for every first page of the created letters, that could be done either directly in the paragraph-format of the first paragraph of the starting document or using a paragraph-style for the first paragraph that would do this. Please excuse my comments. I confounded 2 issues, my comments concern issue 58919. *** Issue 80780 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** move target to 3.x according http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org". |
