@hde: Were you able to reproduce with normal install/patch, or only with /a? Were you able to reproduce on arbitrary machines, or only on so-win? HDE->SB: Seems to be an so-win (Terminalserver)-only problem. This was only tested with /a setup. Results of "normal" installation on so-win will follow . What I could reproduce on so-win when logged in as Administrator is as follows: 1 c:\> msiexec /a t:\install\wntmsci10.pro\StarOffice\SRC680_m124_native_packed-1_en-US.8945\staroffice8.msi Network location: c:\dokumente und einstellungen\administrator\lokale einstellungen\anwendungsdaten\staroffice8_nativefixer22 2 bootstrap.ini: - UserInstallation=$SYSUSERCONFIG/StarOffice8 + UserInstallation=$SYSUSERCONFIG/StarOffice8_nativefixer22 3 c:\> msiexec /a t:\install\wntmsci10.pro\StarOfficeMulti_patch\msi\SRC680_m135_native_packed-1_en-US_de_es_fr_it_sv_pt-BR.8970\staroffice8.msi Network location: c:\dokumente und einstellungen\administrator\lokale einstellungen\anwendungsdaten\staroffice8_nativefixer22 4 c:\> "c:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Administrator\Lokale Einstellungen\Anwendungsdaten\staroffice8_nativefixer22\program\swriter.exe" Configuration data in 'file:///c:/Dokumente%20und%Einstellungen/Administrator/Lokale%20Einstellungen/Anwendungsdaten/staroffice8_nativefixer22/share/uno_packages/cache/registry/com.sun.star.comp.deployment.configuration.PackageRegistryBackend/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/Substitution.xcu' is corrupted. ... Notes: - $SYSUSERCONFIG obviously points to c:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Administrator\Anwendungsdaten. - When logged in as a user without admin rights, and doing steps 1--3 (replacing "administrator" in the paths with the user name), step 4 does not lead to an error box, but rather to an soffice with strange-looking, mostly empty toolbars and menus (at least HDE showed me such an soffice; I assume that it was effectively installed via steps 1--3). Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org". |
