There should be an item in the view menu next to "text boundaries" to turn off
sections boundaries. As it is now, the steps for turning off the sections
boundaries are difficult to figure out and unintuitive. The same thing probably
goes for object boundaries as well, though I have yet to use objects.

The Issue you raised is currently assigned to 'Requirements' pending review, but
has not been updated within the last 2+ years. Please consider re-testing with
one of the latest versions of OOo, as the problem(s) may have already been
addressed. Either use the recent stable version:

I would like to express my support for this feature.

I work with long documents composed of many sections. A quick way to toggle between visible and invisible section boundaries would save me a lot of time and energy.
