. . Confirmed with OOo 2.0.2RC3, Writer, WinXP. - Typed 'Pacman'. - Spell check; indicates 'Pacman' is wrong. - In the spell check window, correct to 'Pac-man'. - Add to dictionary. Ok. - Run spell check again. - Highlights 'Pac' as a mistake. I'm not sure whether it is acceptable to just prevent adding a hyphenated word to the dictionary- although this is easiest to implement. In some cases (such as 'Pac-man'), in semantic terms surely this counts as just one word. Regards, Andrew |
