Description lars 2005-11-13 17:28:27 UTC
Hi,

open Calc, "open" the draw functions, select the Callouts tool, draw a
callout, then select the Freeform Line tool, draw a freeform line: the
freeform line is in Edit Points state.

Now close Calc and open Calac, open the draw tools, draw a Freeform Line: the
ffl is in object selection state.

This is inconsistent and should be fixed.

I discovered this when tracking a bug concerning freeform lines and the undo
function where sending to background of freeform lines isn't undone and all
objects and cell contents vanish when clicking undo.

Can't reproduce with OOo 2.0.1 Win98SE.

No matter I insert a Freeform (after a Callout form or before) the form always
comes in object selection state.

Reporter, as you found this issue in 2.0, seems to be fixed in 2.0.1.
Feel free to reopen it if necessary.

Thank you for reporting.

I can still reproduce this in OOo 2.0.1. perhaps related to OS?

Lars, sorry but I couldn't reproduce your problem.
using OOo 2.0.1 on WinXP SP2 I got the same results: alwasy the Freeform comes
in object selection mode.

Following your steps "draw a freeform line: the freeform line is in Edit Points
state": the freeform seems to be in Edit Points state, no? As it looks like a
line the move points is pretty equals to edit points.

If you right click in this freeform line your "Edit Points" entry is checked?

Thank you.

this issue still occurs in OOo 2.0.2 RC1; I reopen this issue to wait until
someone can reproduce it. A video of how it looks like can be found at the URL.

Hi Niklas,

checked with OOBm2.9007 and can reproduce.

CL said as it is not present in Draw it seems to be yours.
