Copy/Move Sheet Bug none

Description w2wwong 2005-11-25 08:45:46 UTC
Hi,

I opened an Excel file using Calc. This worksheet contains checkboxes which are
used to calculate values.

My previous excel worksheet contains 5 worksheets. After opening using Calc, I
wanted to copy 1 more worksheet. I chose the 'Copy/Move sheet' function and
successfully created another worksheet (sheet B), which is a copy of the last
worksheet (sheet A).

However, the checkboxes of these 2 worksheets are now linked. Meaning that
whenever I choose which checkboxes to 'check'in Sheet A, sheet B will also
reflect the same checkboxes as 'checked'.

I have attached the worksheet (Calc Bug.xls) for your reference.

Thank you very much.

confirmed on Windows XP SP2 with OOo-dev 2.0.139: open the attached file and
check a box in sheet A, then look at B to see that the box got also checked
there

Hi Niklas,

the reference in the control on the original sheet is relative. So it seems to
be a bug. Yours or Eikes ?

Controls don't have relative references. But it would make sense to adjust them
when copying the whole sheet.

This problem does not only affect checkboxes, as 'nn' annotated in comments ri
Jul 14 17:09:58. So I modify Summary to make it more meaningful and general (as
I hope).
Is TM "2.x" realistic (still not STARTED) or should we modify HELP to say
clearly that those references are absolute?
Comment 7 niklas.nebel 2007-12-04 18:07:19 UTC
retarget 2.x -> 3.x

I use calc to evaluate my students. a template sheet using cursors as been built.

I can't copy this template for each student. all the copyed sheets are referenced to the template.

this work fine with MS Office

please have a look.
