Currently I am creating PPT slide shows for the songs at my church.  All of the 
files are created and saved as PPT files in OOo.  In a few cases I introduced 
animation into a slide.  Each time I created the slide and automated text 
transitions in OOo.  The slide executes normally in OOo.  When I open and 
execute the slideshow in Powerpoint at church, the animation is turned off, or 
defaulted to "slide in from left".  The church is running Win98 with Powerpoint 
2000 or XP.  I need animation settings to carry over.

When I save the bugdoc as *.PPT and load it in PPT2000 the effects vanish.
when I load it with PPTxp or PPT2003 5 effects occures at once for one you have
to click.
Please have a look.

CGU,

Sorry for the delay in response.  It's been a busy year. You said, "When I save

The vanishing effects and the effects occurring at once are also happening.  
The effect is supposed to be a 3 second delay per text object, flying in from 
different directions.  PPT 2000, XP, and 2003 all do something else with this 
slide.  This is what I am referring to as a defect.  I have noticed that  
custom animation in OOo does not carry over properly into PPT.

This Issue requires more information ('needmoreinfo'), but has not been updated
within the last year. Please re-test with one of the latest versions of OOo -
the problem(s) may have already been addressed. Either use the recent stable
version: http://download.openoffice.org/index.html
or consider trying the new OOo 3 BETA (still in testing):
http://download.openoffice.org/3.0beta/
