The installation gets to the "Registering Components" part just fine. It sits
there for several minutes, then Windows kills it, saying it generated errors.

In the installation options I told it not to associate itself with any of the MS
Office file types (unchecked all boxes on that page). I was installing in a
non-default installation directory.

My computer is a PII running Windows 2000 Professional SP 1 Build 2195.

This is one of these 'can't reproduce' issues. Please give me mor
information about your system:
- hardware
- system configuration (e.g. FAT, user rights etc.)
- is this reproducible in OOo 1.0.1
