Test file to show where the legend gets lost on Chart on import to OO from Excel2000 file
We wish to migrate 30 pc's with Excel to OO2. We have approx 1000 XLS files that have the above problem. It is the one last bug that stops perfect reading of these files in OpenOffice2. I hope that we can resolve thsi one quickly. I apologise that I cannot actually specify the specific cause of the error. But it is always consistant .. confirmed on Windows XP Pro SP2 with OOo 2.0.1; additionally the legends aren't displayed at the same position as in Excel and the doument modified flag is being set upon opening. Something went wrong with the legend after import. second chart uses a complex source range, that is currently not supported. While the data is in columns D and E, the series titles (shown in the legend) come from columns B and C. In the first chart, both the series title and the values are in the same column. Workaround: Change series titles in the second chart to cell D2 and E2. Will be fixed in the new chart implementation (currently targeted to OOo 3.0) together with correct placement of the legends. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 3997 *** double->closed |
