Description raindrops 2006-01-17 09:04:09 UTC
1. Take a table that is spread over multiple pages.
2. Click in any cell of the top row on page-2 (or any subsequent page)
3. Try to use the "Table > Split table" command.

Result: This command is grayed out.

The command is available in any other cell of the table.

MRU->OS: When a table does not have a repeated heading, it should be possible to
split it at the top of second page as usual (with dialog).
A table with repeated heading should be split automatically (means: wihout
dialog, the heading should be passed to new table).

Raindrops ->mru
Even if the table HAS repeated heading, it should be possible to split it in the
first non-heading line after the page break.

I have also found this, but in a table with no heading.

I also agree with raindrops that a table with a heading should be splittable,
but that's a separate issue (unless it's the same bug).
