Description mgulcz 2006-01-24 21:23:04 UTC
I use Windows Server 2003. When I open two simultaneous sessions using the same
login (console + remote desktop) and open any OpenOffice document from Windows
Explorer, the document often opens in the other session.

I just tried this and was not able to reproduce. But instead i found stuff like
issue #64493. This is a Win2003 Server R3 for i386.

mgulcz,

does this still happen to you?

After discussing this with a developer for this component i've come to the
conclusion that we do not at all support this configuration. Starting the
application as the same user can - depending on your configuration - cause
trouble as both instances share the same set of configuration files.

I'm setting this to be a feature that we might want to support sometime in the
future.

I can confirm this behaviour on my Win2003 machine. Actually there are only two
applications that have this bug: OO and primoPDF.
Having two sessions with the same user makes sense when it is not possible to
grab the console.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
