The choice of line styles offered by writer (borders...) is very small.

It sorely needs more choice (not-continuous lines, etc)

My particular needs are a line of dots style (line composed of a string of full
circles)

(I'm not sure it actually was a dupe, I had to overload  issue 12049 else my
specific demand would have been lost, but if you want issue 12049 to consolidate
all those kinds of demands...)
