Description richlv 2006-03-13 18:14:21 UTC
floating toolbar position is not remembered if it is dragged by holding down
ctrl (usually done to position an undocked toolbar on toolbar areas)

the easiest way to test it : create two lines, onw with numbering and another
one without. position the cursor so that numbering toolbar is visible. hold
ctrl, drag it to another position. position the cursor at the empty line, then
back to numbered. last change in position is forgotten.

tested on a kde system with qt, gtk and generic widgets

hmm. i am reopening, because i am actually using m158 and can reproduce this
problem.
the problem mentioned in issue 60882 seems to be fixed in my build (floating
toolbars outside of oo.org main window keep their position).
if a toolbar is dragged by holding down ctrl, it's position is forgotten (doesn'
t matter wther it is inside oo.org window or not)
could you please retest my scenario ? i can reproduce it every time

Yes, you're right.

Can confirm with OOodev m158 Win98SE.
Dragging the toolbar with Ctrl key pressed will result in no position remembered.

Thank you.

TM->CD: Reproducible, please have a look, thanks !

cd: If you use CTRL + drag the docking handler is not called. The docking
handler is responsible to save the latest toolbar state. We have to change the
VCL dockmgr methods to fix problem.
