Description Andrea Pescetti 2006-03-18 13:13:58 UTC
1. Create a new Calc document.
2. Write "This is a link" in cell A1.
3. Select "is", Insert -> Hyperlink, URL: "http://www.openoffice.org",
   Text: "is", OK
4. The word "is" is correctly linked to www.openoffice.org
5. Edit -> Find And Replace -> "is" by "was", Replace All.

Expected:
6. The text "This was a hyperlink" appears, "was" inherits link.

Actual:
6. The text "This was a hyperlink" appears, but link is lost.

This is broken also when replacing a part of multi-word hyperlink texts.

confirmed with 680_m158 on WinXP Pro SP2

As it never worked as you've expected and so it works as designed, it's not a
defect but an enhancement. Therefore re-assigned to requirements

This is still not done in OOo 3.2. Will it ever be fixed?
