Description lars 2002-07-08 13:34:50 UTC
please implement a continous zoom mode that is a number field or can be a
number field (if manually put) on the toolbar like the font size field.

Then when there are number fields, please have, when focusing on them, on all
of them, SLIDERS, like in Paintshop Pro, to quickly adjust the number. + update
screen immediately.

I sometimes just want to quickly zoom in and look and my suggestion will make
that more easy !

Your request is quite sensible for graphical programs.
But for a office productivity suite this is not really necessary.

actually this is useful for Calc while in the process of working on
large spreadsheets for orientation purposes: all I have to do is move
a slider, so mov ethe mosu eto tollbar, click and drag it a few
pixels; then identify the area in the spreadsheet I want to work in
and then click the slider at 100% again (or 80% whatever one likes).
This makes this kind of scanning and retrieval very fast.

But see issue 17475 instead.

Still valid for all applications.
