When I export to PDF the relative links become absolute in the PDF document,
making them useless.

HI->PL: I think you've already an issue like this.

pl->hi: nope, no duplicate
Comment 4 philipp.lohmann 2006-06-19 13:54:10 UTC
seems to work in OOC680m5

- insert text
- mark text
- insert->hyperlink "bla.pdf"
- export as PDF

-> PDF contains a link containing "bla.pdf"
Comment 5 h.ilter 2006-07-19 13:17:35 UTC
As I can see this issue is not pdf relevant. The absolute link will created each
time within writer.

I can confirm this in OOo 2.0.3 as well. creating a link to "bla.pdf" (as "pl"
mentioned) works fine, but if you try to link to "../bla.pdf", the the link
becomes "http://../bla.pdf" in the PDF, which doesn't quite work.

seems very similar to issue 56629
Comment 8 ftoth 2007-07-17 14:11:23 UTC
Confirmed in OOo 2.2.1 as well:

Importing a html into a section in a Writer document leaves the relative URL's
in order. No problem here.

Exporting to PDF turns them into an absolute file URL.

That is really to bad! I'm using this procedure to create a pdf document that
is and Table of Contents of other PDF documents.
