When you create a donut chart, you don't see the categories, i.e., the meaning
of the rings anywhere per default. You can show them when enabling data point
labels, but then you get them at all data points (repeatedly) or you have to
manually set only some labels.

There are some suggestions for how to do this in the attached document.
