Hi Falko, 1 4 u Frank Yes, yes, yes - this is definitely important issue. Especially for larger spreadsheets, it makes navigation much, much easier (ok, a bit easier - you do not to keep ctrl pressed :-). And Excel supports both styles (i.e. CTRL+arrows and End+arrows). Add a key shortcut that uses the "End" key in combination with the arrow key to travel to the next empty cell in arrow key direction. . Using OOo 2.0.4, WinXP PC- Problem still persists. Anyone who works with spreadsheets of a moderate size, will know how essential this function is. With even a 100 rows, it becomes a real time saver in selecting ranges of data (cf. Excel). Issue is 4 years old, hence uping priority and setting target to 2.X... hope this doesn't offend, but we need to keep this Issue on the radar. @bh (or other Dev's), any progress updates? Cheers, Andrew removed me from cc move target from 2.x to 3.0 Changed the owner and status. @bh: nothing will happen when set owner to requirement and leaving target at 3.0. @mh: Requirements are handled within the quarterly reviews? So there the decision is done, which target is possible to plan. |
