Description Frank Schönheit 2006-05-03 09:50:16 UTC
If you open a file containing macros, you are (on certain security levels) asked
whether you want to execute the macro. Fine so far.
Now if you reload the document for whatever reasons, then the macro warning is
issued, again. This is nonsense and annoying, since you already decided what to
do with the macros - OOo should be able to remember this in a File/Reload operation.

Why is this nonsense?

The reason to reload the file can be to activate the macros when they were
disabled the first time.

E.g. Open file with disabled macros, have a look at the macros, see that they
don't do dirty tricks → reload to activate & use them.

Hmm, you're right.
My scenario is another one:
I open a document, enable macros. Then, for whatever reason, I reload the
document (for instance because a German OOo has problems with certain number
circles if you write an English document, which are gone after re-loading). In
this case, I do not want to answer the question - I already told OOo 'I trust
this document'.

Adjusting summary to (hopefully) reflect this.
